Add a new user

Start on the Help page in your Home Assistant app. Keep the invitation link private and share it only with the person you want to invite.

Follow these steps

Start on the Help page. Scroll down and tap the Add User button.

This generates a share link.

Next, copy the link and send it to the other user by text message or LINE.

The other user must open the link before it expires.

If the link expires before they open it, simply repeat this process to create a new one.

On the new device, open the link to reach this page.

Use one of these buttons to download and install the Home Assistant app.

After installing the app, tap this button to add the smart home to the app.

When prompted, tap Accept.
